Softball: Brook Hill bombs McKinney Christian, 24-0
Apr. 17—McKINNEY — Brook Hill posted its second run rule win in as many days Tuesday by clobbering McKinney Christian Academy, 24-0, in McKinney.
The game was reduced to three innings due to the mercy rule.
Maggie Matheny, Menah Harley and Scarlett Kerr had three hits apiece for the Lady Guard (4-3, 3-2).
Matheny's five RBI, was a team high. Harley drove in three of the Brook Hill runs.
Landrey McNeel and Brenna Hill smacked two hits each, with one of McNeel's safeties being a double.
Karmen Miller also stroked a double and drove in two runs.
Miller pitched a complete game and didn't allow a hit or a walk. She recordered six strike outs.
The Lady Mustangs struggled defensively by comitting 10 errors.
