Manchester City remain without several senior stars as the club's injury crisis continues.

John Stones and Ruben Dias are the latest to join the list with the defensive duo missing the weekend Premier League defeat to Bournemouth. Manuel Akanji and Josko Gvardiol were both able to start on the south coast amid knocks and while Jeremy Doku, Savinho and Kevin De Bruyne returned to the squad, none of the trio were deemed fit enough to be called upon.

City travel to Portugal to play Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday before a Premier League trip to Brighton next weekend. They will then be afforded a fortnight off courtesy of the November international break. Here's the City injury latest.

John Stones

Injury: Foot

What we know: Stones was absent at Bournemouth with Guardiola saying after the defeat that the defender has a plantar fasciitis foot issue. He could feature in Portugal but the weekend trip to Brighton seems more realistic.

Potential return date: Brighton (A) November 9

Ruben Dias

Injury: Muscular

What we know: Dias was replaced at half time in the cup tie at Spurs and was not involved against Bournemouth. He is set to be out until after the international break.

Potential return date: Tottenham (A) November 23

Savinho

Injury: Ankle

What we know: The winger seemed to have sustained a serious injury when he was stretchered off against Spurs. But he was back on the bench at Bournemouth, albeit unused, and will likely come into contention for Tuesday.

Potential return date: Sporting Lisbon (A) November 5

Jeremy Doku

Injury: Unknown

What we know: He has made a quicker than expected recovery having initially been ruled out until after the international break. A welcome return to the squad at Bournemouth and a return to action cannot be too far away.

Potential return date: Sporting Lisbon (A) November 5

Jack Grealish

Injury: Unknown

What we know: The winger picked up an injury in training ahead of the Champions League tie with Sparta Prague and is likely to be out until after the international break.

Potential return date: Tottenham (H) November 23

Kevin De Bruyne

Injury: Thigh

What we know: De Bruyne has not featured since picking up an injury against Inter Milan in the Champions League. He was back on the bench against Bournemouth but didn't ever seem likely to feature. Sporting might come too soon as well with no risks to be taken with the Belgian.

Potential return date: Brighton (A) November 9

Rodri

Injury: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)

What we know: Rodri has sustained a serious knee injury and will miss the rest of the campaign. The hope for City will be that he can be fit to start when the 2025-26 campaign begins.

Potential return date: August 2025

Oscar Bobb

Injury: Fractured Leg

What we know: The Norwegian suffered his leg break in August and he is now in a race against the clock to come back before the end of the year. The hope is that Bobb will play some part over the festive period.

Potential return date: December
