Storm Bert hits football schedule as weather conditions force postponement
Storm Bert has hit the UK with with strong winds and heavy rain battering the country on Saturday.
Amber warnings have come into force bringing a “potential risk to life and property” with travel is widely disrupted.
Winds of up to 68mph have been recorded and 13cm of snow has fallen in some parts of the country on Saturday morning.

Three Irish Premiership fixtures needed pitch inspections due to the weather conditions.
The games between Carrick Rangers and Dungannon Swifts at Taylors Avenue, and the Mid Ulster derby between portadown and Glenavon at Shamrock Park were given the go ahead after an early inspections.
One match has been postponed however as the fixture between Ballymena United and Larne at The Showgrounds fell foul of the stormy conditions.
