Swindon Town’s match against Port Vale at The Nigel Eady County Ground in February has been selected for TV coverage by Sky Sports.

The next round of games being shown on TV in the EFL have been announced and this has seen Town’s home fixture against Port Vale moved to a 12.30 kick-off to allow it to be shown on Sky Sports+.

The current league leaders beat Swindon 2-1 on their visit to Vale Park in September with goals from George Byers and Brandon Cover meaning that Will Wright’s late free kick counted for nought.

This season’s TV deal means that each League Two club will be shown at least 20 times this season across the various EFL competitions.

Swindon have already had their season opener against Chesterfield and games against Crewe Alexandra and Newport County switched to accommodate the coverage.

Swindon will also appear on Sky Sports three more times in the coming months, it was previously announced that their New Year’s Day clash with Colchester United will be on Sky Sports Football.

Also, both the match with Bromley at Hayes Lane on December 29 and the home clash with Notts County on January 4 will be 12.30 pm starts on Sky Sports+.
