Arne Slot isn’t the only big arrival in Liverpool this summer. Taylor Swift will be landing on Merseyside in less than a month, and the city is preparing in style.

Swift is bringing her globally sold-out Eras tour to Anfield for three dates in June. The Fortnight singer will be performing at the home of the Reds on June 13, 14 and 15.

Her arrival is already proving a huge hit for Liverpool. A huge range of events, club nights and activities have been announced to mark the occasion, and now local businesses are getting in on the action as well.

Ahead of Swift’s visit next month, the Phoenix Hotel in Kirkdale has revealed a mural of the US star. The portrait shows the singer in what appears to be the Lover outfit for the opening segment of the Eras tour.

The mural sees Swift given the same treatment as many of Liverpool’s stars. The area around Anfield is emblazoned with images of the football club’s biggest names, including the likes of Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Indeed, Swift fans will likely walk past some of the images of departing manager Jürgen Klopp on their way to the stadium.

That’s not all though. The Phoenix Hotel’s manager has teased that they will be hosting three days of ‘Taylor Swift fun’, with more details set to be announced.

Liverpool council chiefs are keen to make the most of the US star’s visit, and extend a huge welcome to fans making their way to the city.

As part of the build-up to the gigs, a series of workshops, information stands and even a free “Tay Day” at the University of Liverpool are being put on across the city.

Liverpool.com says: The excitement is already building for Taylor Swift’s arrival in Liverpool. It’s the sort of anticipation you might expect if the Reds were in a Champions League final!

Swift’s shows at Anfield will be a huge boost to the club, with her Eras tour the hottest ticket in town. With Liverpool the only city in England outside of London hosting her (she's also coming to Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin), you can bet it will make the most of it!
