'That's a proper Everton side' - Jordan Pickford reacts to West Ham United draw
Jordan Pickford claimed the goalless draw at West Ham was a "proper" Everton performance. The England goalkeeper made six saves, including a fine diving stop to tip Danny Ings' drive over the crossbar in stoppage time, to earn the Blues a 0-0 draw.
"Obviously, there's never an easy game in the Premier League," Pickford told the club website. "We'd have liked more opportunities to score goals, but we kept a clean sheet and we're going home with a point. We wanted three, but we haven't lost the game.
"Our defensive shape, I thought, was brilliant from front to back and that's a proper Everton side when we're digging deep and helping each other out."

The only player to beat an inspired Pickford was West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville, who saw his shot across goal come back off the far post.
"We were looking for the goal, and I'm a bit frustrated with myself that I wasn't able to score," said Summerville.
"I just need to carry on working at the training ground and make sure that next time I'm in that position it finishes with a goal."
Summerville made a vital contribution to West Ham's first home clean sheet since January, sprinting 70 yards to slide in and block an Abdoulaye Doucoure chance.
"We are a team, and I will die for the team," he added. "It was a bit of a strange action but I was determined to not let him score, and I managed to do that."
"The clean sheet is good, and we have to take the positives into the international break now and come back stronger."
Everton return to action after the international break at home to Brentford on Saturday, November 23.
