Thomas Frank makes 'expected it to be more difficult' admission after thrashing Leicester City
Brentford boss Thomas Frank was full of praise for Kevin Schade after his stunning hat-trick propelled the Bees to a resounding 4-1 win over Leicester City at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Ruud van Nistelrooy, set to take over the reins at Leicester, looked on as Facundo Buonanotte netted the opener for the visitors, only for Yoane Wissa to equalise with his eighth goal of the campaign, assisted by Schade.
The German forward then grabbed the spotlight, slotting home neatly, chipping keeper Mads Hermansen, and completing his trio of goals following a Nathan Collins pass. "The shining star today was Kevin Schade," declared Frank.

"I celebrated so much his first because I know how hard it’s been for him because he’s had so many injuries and he’s wanting to play in the team. He scored three and got a fantastic assist and looked like such a threat and was such a handful."
This triumph marks a return to form for Brentford, bouncing back from a stalemate at Everton last week and maintaining their impressive scoring streak, now boasting 26 goals in 13 outings. "It was a very good performance and maybe the best this season.
"We controlled and dominated until the end of the game even though we didn’t know what we were going to face. I expected it to be more difficult than I think it looked in the end and you could see they changed their shape and were more defensive.
"We went 1-0 down and kept going and showed great bounce-back mentality. We scored four top goals, all of them incredible and were dangerous going forward."
