Middlesbrough have had three games in February moved after being picked for TV coverage, including an interesting decision to move the Sunderland clash at the Riverside to a Monday evening.

As part of the new EFL broadcast deal which sees Sky Sports broadcast more games than ever before live each weekend, the broadcaster also committed to giving supporters extra notice on rescheduled matches. Their latest round TV picks covers the period from January through to the end of February.

As well as moving the Tees-Wear derby to Monday, February 3 for an 8 pm kick-off, Boro will also travel to Stoke City four days later, with that fixture moved to Friday evening on February 7. The third game moved in the trip to Sheffield United, which still takes place on Wednesday, February 12, but will now kick-off at 8 pm instead of 7.45 pm to be shown as that evening's main game.

They will also play on Friday evening on February 21 too, when they make the long trip to Bristol City. That was announced ahead of the start of the season though, and is due to an event clash at Ashton Gate. None of Boro's games have been selected by Sky Sports in January as yet - though it remains unknown who they'll play in the third round of the FA Cup, with the second round games to be decided from November 29 to December 2.

With Sky's picks now concluded up until the start of March, the broadcaster are set to go back to a more traditional process of selecting games based on the situation in each league, which Sky have said will be around four weeks' notice.
