Tommy Fury was involved in a heated altercation with former UFC star Darren Till at a press conference promoting their upcoming boxing fight on January 18.

Fury and Till were joined by Misfits Boxing CEO KSI for what had at first appeared to be a respectful media briefing in London on Tuesday night. However tempers soon flared when the Liverpudlian mentioned his previous sparring experience with Tyson Fury, the half-brother of Tommy and the son of John.

That led to Fury Snr calling Till "pigs eyes" before the 31-year-old hit back by labelling Fury Snr as "little John". And if that wasn't enough to rile the Fury camp, then Till's claim that Fury Jnr had "the IQ of a loaf of bread" and was an "empty head" proved provocative enough to initiate a brawl on stage.

From there, Till made a beeline for both of the Furys on stage but security guards were in position to ensure neither fighter was able to reach the other.

Till, still restrained by security, then exchanged expletives with Fury Jnr, calling him a "s********" before the press conference cut to a commercial break.

Asked about the intense nature of the press conference, KSI said: "Yeah, chaotic. It ended a lot faster than I thought. I knew it was going to be fireworks and we've seen it.

"Honestly, this fight is going to be insane. I can't wait to see people's faces when they both get in the ring."

Fury, who has beaten both KSI and Jake Paul in recent bouts, and Till will settle their differences in the ring at Manchester's Co-op Live Arena on January 18.
