Tottenham team confirmed vs Burnley - Richarlison out, Skipp at left-back, Maddison returns
Ange Postecoglou has made two changes to his Tottenham Hotspur side to face Burnley on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League.
Tottenham have just three matches remaining of their campaign and still hold a chance of qualifying for Champions League football. However, to achieve that the north London must take all three points in all of their final three fixtures against the Clarets, Manchester City and Sheffield United and hope that, Aston Villa do not get more than one point from their remaining two games at home against Liverpool and away at Crystal Palace.
Vincent Kompany's Burnley side are battling for their Premier League survival and know they must win all of their remaining games and hope results elsewhere fall in their favour if they are to prevent themselves from toppling out of in the English top flight.
Ange Postecoglou has plenty of injury issues in his squad right now, with no fit left-backs and Brazil manager Dorival Junior said on Friday that Richarlison has a calf injury that means he will need to miss this summer's Copa America.
The Brazilian, who grabbed a goal and assist at Liverpool, is not included in the squad to face Burnley.
Elsewhere, James Maddison comes back into the line-up and at left-back Oliver Skipp gets his chance after impressing against Liverpool and working with Postecoglou and the coaching staff on the role in recent weeks.
Here is the Tottenham team that Postecoglou has selected:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Skipp; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Son, Johnson. Subs: Austin, Dragusin, Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Lo Celso, Gil, Moore, Scarlett.
