Ipswich Town winger Wes Burns has withdrawn from the Wales national team squad ahead of their November Nations League B fixtures.

Craig Bellamy's side will travel to Turkey on Saturday, November 16th before hosting Iceland in Cardiff on Tuesday, November 19th.

With eight points from their four games so far, automatic promotion to Nations League A is in their hands. Should they win in Kayseri this weekend and better Turkey's result on the final day, they will top the group.

Burns won't be able to play any part in that, however, with the Welsh FA confirming that he's withdrawn from the squad alongside Owen Beck and former Town striker Kieffer Moore. Jay Dasilva, Charlie Savage and Luke Harris have replaced them.

The Blues have since revealed that the 29-year-old will remain in Suffolk to 'manage a knock' ahead of the upcoming home game against Manchester United.

Team-mate Nathan Broadhead will be involved with Wales, however. The 26-year-old is yet to play in the Premier League for Ipswich, having been left out of the squad for the win at Tottenham Hotspur.
