In the final match against St Helens, Cox achieved figures of 2-16, with Will Mew claiming 2-17.

St Helens, with Mark Hartnell as their top-scorer, only managed 76 runs.

Hartnell also claimed figures of 2-30, as Ventnor A found themselves at 52-3.

However, an unbeaten 26 from Toby Noyes ensured a comfortable three-wicket victory, with 22 balls to spare.

Earlier in the evening, Ventnor A enjoyed an easy win against Northwood B.

George Watts and Cox scored 30 not out and 24 respectively, helping Ventnor reach 134-4.

In response, Northwood B were restricted to a paltry 38 runs, courtesy of Charlie Calloway and Watts, who took two wickets each.

St Helens reached the final after a close victory over Porchfield.

Despite a slow start, two impressive innings from Marc Allen and Mark Hartnell saw them reach 149-4.

They then restricted Porchfield to 120-4.

With their back-to-back titles, Ventnor A will now represent the Isle of Wight in the regional stages of the ECB Indoor Club Championship in March next year.
