Waqa Blake secures new club with UK stay confirmed after St Helens exit
Bradford Bulls have completed a deal to sign Waqa Blake. Rugby League Live can reveal the Championship club have acquired another of their top targets as they continue to recruit aggressively for the 2025 season.
The Fijian is a free agent following his departure from St Helens and, after Bradford's interest was previously confirmed, they have now struck a deal to bring the 29-year-old to the club.
It's another big signing for Bradford, who have recruited extensively ahead of Brian Noble's return as head coach, and sources at Odsal suggest further significant signings could still materialise before the start of the Championship season.

Blake, who has extensive NRL experience, arrived in Super League ahead of the 2024 season and scored 11 tries in 24 appearances for Paul Wellens' side, but wasn't offered a contract extension.
His departure from Saints appeared to signal the end of his stint in the UK, but he is keen to stay in the country and that has seen the Bulls make their move to add him to their squad next year.
Their signings for 2025 include Leeds Rhinos forward James Donaldson and the Halifax duo of Joe Keyes and Matty Gee, while Franklin Pele has joined Jayden Okunbor have completed permanent moves to the club next season.
