Watch A 14-Year-Old Snare Olympic Gold With An Awesome Performance

Australian skateboarder Arisa Trew is already at the top of the world.

The 14-year-old athlete captured gold in the women’s park skateboarding final at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday to become her country’s youngest medalist, the Australian Olympic Team noted.

“I’m just so excited. It’s like just so many emotions at once,” she told the Sydney Morning Herald.

Trew skated her way to a first-place 93.18 routine on her final run, which prompted perhaps the sport’s greatest icon, Tony Hawk, to gush (per the Herald):

“She absolutely deserved it. She’s leading the way of what’s possible in skateboarding and in women’s skateboarding And we’re just lucky to have her.”
