American tennis is having a moment.

For the first time since 2003, the U.S. has four different singles players in the semifinals of the singles draws at the U.S. Open.

Coincidentally (or not) that was also the last time an American man, Andy Roddick, won a major singles title.

Thursday brings the women's semifinals, featuring No. 13 Emma Navarro and No. 6 Jessica Pegula.

Unlike on the men's side, the two American women do not have to play against each other in the semifinals.

Navarro has the tougher of the two matchups and will play against No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka, the prohibitive favorite to win the tournament.

Pegula meanwhile will face off against unseeded Karolina Muchova, whom she beat earlier this summer in a three-set match in Cincinnati.

Both semifinals take place on Thursday evening, and here's how to watch:

How DirecTV users can watch US Open tennis

Due to a contract dispute between DirecTV and Disney, Disney removed much of its programming from DirecTV servers. DirecTV consumers are now left without channels like ESPN, meaning they are unable to watch the U.S. Open.

Don't worry, DirecTV users, you can still watch the tennis with Fubo, which is currently offering a free seven-day trial.
