Chelsea host Arsenal in a pivotal Premier League game before the November international break. Enzo Maresca's men are hoping to guarantee a place in the top four or even move up to third, while Mikel Arteta's Gunners will be bidding to end their three-game run without a league win.

After another chaotic summer, Maresca has seemed to have steadied the ship at Stamford Bridge and has helped guide Chelsea to 18 points from their first 10 top-flight matches. They have lost just twice in that time and last weekend's 1-1 draw at Manchester United represented another step in the right direction.

As for Arsenal, they had started the season unbeaten after seven matches, but back-to-back away defeats against Bournemouth and Newcastle has seemed to dent the momentum and put their title charge on halt. Despite this, they have picked up the same amount of points as Chelsea so far this season.

Chelsea vs Arsenal team news

Chelsea are confident that Cole Palmer will return after picking up an injury against United last Sunday. Enzo Maresca is expected to make wholesale changes from Thursday's Europa Conference League win over Noah, with Nicolas Jackson, Levi Colwill, Moises Caicedo and Wesley Fofana among those set to return to the XI.

As for Arsenal, Declan Rice is fighting a race to be fit for Arsenal's trip to West London. The 25-year-old missed Wednesday's trip to Inter Milan after picking up an injury against Newcastle last weekend. It has since been reported that Rice suffered a broken toe at St James' Park but is determined to play through the pain barrier.

Elsewhere, Martin Odegaard is set to be named in the squad once again after making his long-awaited return to fitness against Inter.
