Saniya Rivers had a bit of a struggle from the field as she shot just 33.3%, but she still finished with a solid stat line of 11 points, seven rebounds, three steals and one block.
South Carolina opened the season against Michigan, defeating the Wolverines in a close one, 68-62. Chloe Kitts led the scoring for the Gamecocks with 19 points while also pulling down 14 rebounds. SC has lost some talent over the last few seasons, but remains the best team in the country thanks to players like Raven Johnson, Te-Hina Paopao and Sania Feagin.
