Watch Rangers vs Real Madrid LIVE as youths compete in prestigious Puskas Suzuki Cup

Rangers take on Real Madrid this afternoon as they compete in the prestigious Puskas Suzuki Cup for the first time.

The Ibrox youngsters are in Hungary for the tournament which has played host to several of Europe’s brightest talents over the years, including Atletico Madrid forward Alvaro Morata and Real Madrid full-back Dani Carvajal. Real Madrid and Budapest Honved-MFA have both won the competition five times, while Genk and Flamengo have also got their hands on the trophy since its inception in 2008.

Gers have been placed in Group A and they kicked off their campaign with an impressive 3-2 comeback win over hosts Puskas Academy yesterday. Steven Smith's kids fought back from 2-1 down at half-time as Chris Eadie's goal and a second-half brace from Lewis Stewart secured an impressive victory.

Now, they'll come up against one of the best youth teams in the world when they square off against Real Madrid at 12:30pm this afternoon before their final match against Genk. The group stage fixtures are held from Thursday to Sunday before finals day is played out across Monday.

Each match in the tournament - named after legendary Ferenc Puskas - consists of two 30-minute halves and the final placings will be determined by matches between teams in corresponding positions in their respective groups.
