Tottenham will look to bounce back from the disappointment of the weekend's Premier League result when they return to European action on Thursday night.

Spurs have what is a relatively short journey up to Scotland as they take on Rangers at Ibrox. It's a showdown that has a bit of extra interest due to Ange Postecoglou's previous association with Rangers' old firm rivals Celtic.

The Australian managed the Scottish giants from 2021 to 2023, when he joined Spurs. In that time, he beat Rangers to the title in both of his seasons in charge of the club.

There has been a lot of talk about the manager - given Tottenham's inconsistent season so far. The team are currently winless in their last four games in all competitions, since beating Man City 4-0 away from home last month in what was, at the time, an eye-catching statement.

Spurs, meanwhile, currently sit in ninth place in the Europa League group stage table, with Rangers in the last automatic qualifying spot in eighth. Just goal difference currently separates the two sides in the standings.
