Rangers star Nico Raskin insists the players are NOT feeling the pressure of playing at Ibrox.

The Belgian has returned to the starting line-up in recent weeks and was the pick of the bunch in Light Blue yesterday alongside Barron. And Raskin insists nothing is done yet despite the nine point gap at the top. He said: “No, we're not feeling the pressure. We focus on ourselves. We're taking game after game. We know what we have to do. We know we've lost points. We know we need to get them back. But the season's still long. We're trying to take it game by game and do our best. It's not done yet.”

Meanwhile, Philippe Clement admits the second half wasn’t good enough if Rangers are to have any chance of eating into Celtic and Aberdeen’s lead. He said: “I saw things I don’t want to see that need to be better - to control, to manage and to score the second goal. We had several opportunities to score the second so we need to take those.

"Also in the last minute if you get a free-kick in the opponent’s half and you end with a ball for your goalie and a throw for the opponents, then we lack management of the game. But it’s a young squad. They still need to learn a lot, they’re really hungry to learn, they are getting better and they’ve shown good things this week but we need to work on managing a game and recognise those moments.”

Danilo - a second half sub yesterday - back fit and pushing for a start. Asked if Danilo’s return will help push Cyriel Dessers, Clement said: “You cannot say that because at the start of the season those guys weren’t here, they were injured, and Cyriel made eight goals in seven games or something. He gives everything for the team, does everything to score but also to work hard for the team but he doesn’t score every game.

“A striker who scores every game won’t stay long at Rangers. He has scored a lot of goals. Could he have scored more? Yes and we are working on that. I came in a year ago, he had three goals then but he’s scored more in that period this season and also last season. So he’s taking steps that way and he needs to continue. But I’m happy to have Dani back. He showed quality in my first weeks at Rangers and he was important to the team. The more rotation in the squad the better we will get.

“We now have the break, the guys who play less minutes will have a game then after that there will be three months of a game every three days so we will need everyone at their best because everyone who shows quality will get minutes along the way.”
