When it comes to the world rankings, Wales are already at their lowest ever ebb, having previously slipped to 11th in the world.

The pressure is growing on boss Warren Gatland, after he oversaw a 24-19 defeat at home to Fiji on Sunday, a result that equals his side's worst ever run of 10 straight Test defeats. The Fijians themselves are currently sitting ninth after picking up what was their first ever win at the Principality Stadium.

However, incredibly, it could get even worse for Wales. Gatland's side taken on Australia next weekend. and defeat there could see them slip another place to 12th.

Georgia are currently the side below Wales, and they take on Italy, who were destroyed by Argentina on the weekend, next. A win for the Georgians, combined with a Wallabies triumph, would see them overtake Wales and secure 11th place.

Meanwhile, Ireland have been knocked off top spot by South Africa, while New Zealand have moved up one place to second after the win in Dublin on Friday night.

Argentina and Scotland have moved up one place to fifth and sixth respectively, while England have fallen two places to seventh after losing to the Wallabies a week after defeat to New Zealand.
