Do you guys remember when being a big massive monster of a dude was everything in pro wrestling? They don't really make 'em like they used to. But that's because they're much, much, much better, and more of a rarity.

That being said, they just don't hit — or get booked — the same.

WWE made Braun Strowman one of the most amazing monster wrestlers we'd seen in who knows how long. But even at his heights, WWE messed him up despite eventually getting titles around his waist. That dude should have been an absolute ultra-heel monster champion for the company.

I'm unfortunately getting similar vibes to Strowman's peak with Bronson Reed at the moment. He's obviously not there, but it's trying to be replicated, which is the problem.

Reed and Seth Rollins' Peter Griffin and the chicken feud is fun for being that. It's broken, though. If Reed is going to be that monster, he has to win their match. That didn't happen, and now they're still fighting. That's fine, but why the hell is their rematch next week not booked for some kind of extreme no-disqualification stipulation? That was weird the first time and it's even weirder now. As infuriated as Pen Shamrock surely was watching that, I'm sure he pointed the blame at Adam Pearce, who was so mad he booked it at Rollins' request ... without a no DQ type of ruleset.

He wants the feud to be over so badly but won't let the guys go nuts on each other to the fullest? Nice work, man.

☝️ MONDAY'S MOST WANTED!

It must be nice being as wanted as Rollins was on "WWE Raw" this week.

The Bloodline Civil War Games match at Survivor Series should be awesome, but we need a body added to each side and that's where Rollins is coming into the equation. He first denied Sami Zayn's recruitment and Solo Sikoa later on. Surely, he'll be persuaded as the weeks go on and I wouldn't be surprised if it comes down to the night itself.

Telling Zayn how stupid he and The Usos are for trusting Roman Reigns again was brilliant and completely logical stuff from Rollins. As for Sikoa and company, Rollins has no real reason to join them outside of being spiteful. He also essentially called Sikoa a Reigns cosplayer while he was at it. The dude killed it in these exchanges.

Lastly, Rollins' sneaky pull-apart escape from security under the ropes was hilariously brilliant. How has it taken WWE ... what ... 25-plus years to book that? Unless my memory fails me, that was gold.

😱 COWARD OF THE NIGHT.

"The Ring General" isn't looking so tough all of a sudden. (Don't chop me in half, Gunther.)

It's a fun dynamic to play with for a guy who has been as incredibly dominant as Gunther. However, one loss to the other world champion and he's lost enough confidence to back down from a guy he's already beaten in Damian Priest? A little odd.

Priest schooled Gunther in every way to open the night. From cutting his promo off and inviting him to brawl, which was denied and turned into a Ludwig Kaiser match. Because of course it was. Priest wins. Life goes on.

😭 BREAK-UP OF THE NIGHT.

They haven't broken up yet, but the writing is on the wall for The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

Woods essentially cost Kingston his match by attacking Pete Dunne outside the ring and Kingston got upset and distracted by it. Talk about a fall from grace for your former WWE champion.

This is an interesting route to go as The New Day has never wanted to break up, which would be a reverse swerve for a tag team as that's always an inevitable fate. I think it would be fun for them because of that, and you know the matches would be great. At the same time, part of me hopes this means Big E is ready to return and will play a part in keeping the boys together. That is surely very optimistic considering the nature of his injury. It would just make for the happiest swerve ever though, wouldn't it?

🤪 MESS OF THE NIGHT.

"Raw's" main event was an overbooked mess and we'll let it slide because it's War Games season.

The tag team title match between the champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez set the scene for what will be Survivor Series' women's War Games match. Despite the best efforts of Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Naomi, the champions retained their titles when Belair landed the KOD on Morgan.

It was a fine match and did its job. I was slightly compelled by the pairing and what would happen with the champions as they so blatantly should be treated as unbeatable, and for the most part, have been. There will eventually be dissension. That's the only way those two should lose.

Talk about a 180 from The New Day situation.

Oh yeah, Iyo Sky also rounded out the madness.

👍 MONEY 👍

1. Bron Breakker hasn't always been the best promo. Far from it, to be honest. However, he cut a brief one backstage and it was perfect. He kind of felt like a bizarro world Wardlow-MJF hybrid considering his look and how he called Sheamus a big, stupid idiot. It worked, and the interaction with Sheamus after was fun too.

Like Rollins, Breakker also wound up getting a teased invite from Jimmy Uso to join their team at Survivor Series.

2. Kaiser might be the most "villain's right-hand man" of all right-hand men. That makes sense, right?

He fits his role far too well. If he quit this wrestling thing and went to Hollywood tomorrow, no one could blame him. It's gotten kind of comical seeing him do his thing on this stage now.

3. Miz is alive after getting kidnapped last week! Life is always a win.

👎 RAW DEAL 👎

1. Oh, the Wyatt Sicks. When you're fooled by The Miz, that's just shameful.

From Final Testament baiting the Wyatt Sicks' emergence with a Miz trap, to them just feeling like Halloween dress-up, I don't like it anymore. Bray Wyatt seriously embodied his characters on a different level and I'm not sure that can ever be touched.

2. Gunther wearing his belt over a suit reminds me of Tim Sylvia. If you know, you know. Don't be like Big Tim.

3. We saw Dakota Kai, so that was cool. I like the Gorilla Position interviews a lot too.

As soon as Damage CTRL wrapped up, they headed to the ring, and we got a lengthy commercial and came back with Kingston, R-Truth, and Woods acting like fools in the back. It was silly, dumb, and got us to the Dunne match when he interrupted. So, the ladies were just chilling in the ring while this all went on. The disrespect!

As for PFC, they feel like a knockoff women's version of BCC over in AEW. Can't win 'em all.

👑 Uncrowned Gem of the Night 👑

It couldn't have been anyone else other than Rollins. He was the focal point and literal MVP between The Bloodline Civil War.

I've always been pretty mixed with Rollins and that's depended on his character direction more than anything. He's incredibly talented and puts on tons of great matches when the dance partner is right. I can go without the goofy, which we got tonight. More peak Randy Orton-like Rollins and I'm all in. Watch this week's "Raw" just for him.

👑 I give this show a Crown score of 6/10. 👑
