Yoro, Mainoo, Mount - Manchester United injury news and return dates ahead of West Ham
Manchester United will be targeting a return to winning ways when they lock horns with West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
United, who have lost their last two away games against the Hammers, drew 1-1 with Fenerbahce in the Europa League in midweek, meaning they failed to build on last weekend's 2-1 triumph over Brentford at Old Trafford.
Youssef En-Nesyri's second half header cancelled out Christian Eriksen's opener, meaning United have now won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions.

READ MORE: Erik ten Hag can unleash a United midfield he has only used once before vs West Ham
United's underwhelming run of form has been impacted by an ever-increasing injury list. Manager Erik ten Hag is currently light on options, not least in midfield, and Antony was the latest addition to it after being forced off in Istanbul. With that said, here is the latest on the United injury front ahead of the trip to the capital...
Leny Yoro
Injury: Fractured metatarsal
United issued an update on Yoro earlier this week, confirming he had started training on the grass. He has been sidelined since fracturing his metatarsal in the opening game of United's pre-season tour of the United States in July.
United anticipated he would be sidelined for around three months after undergoing surgery at the start of August. He was walking without crutches as soon as early-September and has been working hard in the gym at Carrington. He will not be rushed and his competitive debut for the club is 'not imminent'.
Possible return date: November.
Harry Maguire
Injury: Foot
Maguire has been absent since being forced off against Aston Villa prior to the international break. He limped off the field, requiring support from members of the United medical team, and was replaced by Matthijs de Ligt just before half-time. Maguire posted on social media that he would be out for 'a few weeks', something Ten Hag confirmed a few days later.
Possible return date: November.
Jonny Evans
Injury: Knock
Evans was absent from United's opening training session in front of the media at Carrington on Wednesday due to a knock and subsequently missed the trip to Fenerbahce the following day. The nature and extent of the issue has not been detailed. However, Ten Hag, speaking after Thursday night's game, confirmed the Northern Irishman is poised to return against West Ham.
Possible return date: October 27 (West Ham United A).
Luke Shaw
Injury: Calf
After suffering a calf injury a few days before United's Premier League opener against Fulham, the club said they were hopeful Shaw would be available after the first international break of the season in mid-September. However, that didn't prove to be the case.
He has been working on an individual training programme at Carrington and his recovery is understood to be heading in the right direction. Ten Hag, speaking earlier this month, said of Shaw: "We hope Luke Shaw can return after the international break quickly. I don't know if it's the first game we're hoping for."
Possible return date: Unknown.
Tyrell Malacia
Injury: Knee
Left-back Malacia has been training with the United first team in recent weeks, offering encouragement that his return might not be all that far away. He last played for United on the final day of the 2022/23 Premier League season.
In August, Ten Hag said the defender was moving in the right direction, suggesting he could be back at some point in October: "He is not that far [off], but he is now in a progress situation. At a relatively short notice, he can again return into team training and then into team performance in games. I think it would be possible [to be available again] in two months."
United have just two games left this month and he is yet to have been deemed fit enough to feature in a matchday squad.
Possible return date: October.
Kobbie Mainoo
Injury: Muscle
Mainoo suffered a muscle injury in the closing stages of United's 0-0 draw with Villa, resulting in him being forced to withdraw from the England squad the following day. Ten Hag, speaking at his pre-Brentford press conference just over a week ago, said he expects the academy graduate to be unavailable for 'a couple of weeks', meaning he could be back available as soon as the clash with Chelsea next Sunday.
Possible return date: November 3 (Chelsea H).
Mason Mount
Injury: Knock
Mount, who played just 20 times for United last season because of various injury issues, has missed the last four matches after being forced off with a head injury that required stitches against Tottenham Hotspur on September 29. Ten Hag said on Wednesday: "I think a bit longer [to wait for Mount], that's what we expected. I think he will be back soon."
Possible return date: Unknown.
Toby Collyer
Injury: Unknown
Explaining why Jack Fletcher had been included in the squad for Saturday's win over Brentford, Ten Hag revealed Collyer was another midfielder who had been added to the injury list. However, he stopped short of offering any detail on the nature or extent of his injury.
Possible return date: Unknown.
Antony
Injury: Sprained ankle
Antony was forced off on a stretcher in the closing stages of United's stalemate with Fenerbahce, just 16 minutes after being introduced from the bench. He left the stadium requiring crutches, sporting a protective boot on his left leg.
Ten Hag, speaking in the aftermath of the game, said it was too early to reveal a diagnosis, saying: "It's really unlucky for him. I feel real compassion for him, when he worked so hard in training. His training performances are that good that he deserved to come on. When you have to come off so quickly, that is really sad to see. Hopefully, it's not too bad, we have to wait 24 hours for what the assessment is."
It is now understood that he suffered an ankle sprain, but United are still assessing the severity of it.
Possible return date: Unknown.
