Rangers academy director Zeb Jacobs is reportedly being lined up for a position at Feyenoord.

The Belgian moved to Ibrox three years ago, at the time becoming head of academy coaching before being promoted to his current role last year. Feyenoord's current academy chief, Rini Coolen, is moving on at the end of the current season and they are said to be considering Jacobs as a replacement.

Reports in the Netherlands are claiming the 29-year-old has a clause in his contract which would allow him to leave Gers by giving just one month's notice if he was approached by another club. The Eredivisie side's technical director Dennis te Kloese wants a quick appointment after identifying Jacob's as his number one choice.

Jacobs was previously head of development at Royal Antwerp in his homeland before moving to Glasgow.

Feyenoord could lose their manager in the summer with Arne Slot being lined up for the Liverpool job with Reds hero Xabi Alonso opting to stay put at Leverkusen instead of replacing Jurgen Klopp.
