I'm Kerri Walsh Jennings with Yahoo sports and here's what you need to know about the men's beach volleyball field.
The top four seeds in the world are not Americans, but that's ok.
These teams are very fun to watch.
The number one seed in the world is from Sweden of all places.
These guys are young.
They are high flyers that play such an interesting game and they are Altman and Helvig from Sweden, watch them learn from them.
They are so creative out there.
It's really fun.
They have won consistently over the qualifying period and they've taken over that everyone's spot from what everyone thought was going to be the Norwegians M and so from Norway, they had the number two spot.
Mole and Sore are incredible.
They have probably been the steadiest team over the past two Olympic quadrennial.
They have won a lot recently.
Anders Mole has undergone foot surgery and so there was a bit of an unknown, but he's back to the field.
They are amazingly complimentary of each other and they have a number two spot for Norway and the number three spot is from team Brazil, the team of George and Andre, this team is passionate.
They're typically Brazilian.
They're incredible on defense.
They have a lot of heart and they're never going away.
So to beat them, you have to be gritty for team USA.
Our top seed is the sixth seed of Miles Partay and Annie Bones.
This team is incredible.
They again compliment each other very, very well.
They have won on the world's biggest stage with the equivalent of winning the FIVB Grand Slams events.
They're awesome.
They are steady.
Miles is young.
He's a lefty, he's an amazing defender on the other side.
His partner, Andy is a great blocker.
Very steady, very stoic.
This team has ice in their veins.
The other team for USA is the 13th seed of Chase Budinger and Miles Evans.
These are two California boys who have never won the biggest tournaments on the world tour, but they know how to win.
They each have wins in the A BP two.
They have recently won a nurse, a qualifier that helped them to qualify for the Olympic Games.
And these guys are athletic.
Chase Budinger actually is a former NBA player.
He moved out to the beach in 2018.
His rise to stardom in pro beach volleyball has been incredible.
Miles Evans has had multiple partners, always done pretty well with each of his partners, but him and Chase have taken it to the next level and they have qualified for team USA in the 13th seed
