Paris 2024 Olympics Unveils 'Look' of the Games

The official ‘Look’ and Pictograms for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 have been unveiled with stunning images showing how venues featuring the city’s iconic landmarks will look. These include The Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower, Stade de France, Les Invalides, and the Palace of Versailles. The decorations will be used to dress every competition venue, together with the towns and celebration sites that will be decked out in the Games colours for several weeks. The visual identity for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 has been conceived on the basis of four main themes: celebration, transfer, rationalisation, and personalisation. Following the Marianne as an emblem and the Phrygian cap for the mascots, both strong representations of the French Republic, the paving stone has been given pride of place as it has been part of the French urban and historic landscape has been used since Antiquity and was subsequently developed in Paris from the Middle Ages. Also unveiled have been the pictograms for each sport - which since the Tokyo Games of 1964 have aimed to help Olympic sports cross language barriers
