Anfield mosaic for Jurgen Klopp pictured ahead of Liverpool farewell vs Wolves

Jurgen Klopp will grace Anfield as Liverpool manager for the final time on Sunday

A mosaic paying tribute to Jurgen Klopp has been spotted at Anfield ahead of the manager’s final game for Liverpool.

Sunday will be an emotional day for the club as they wave goodbye to one of their greatest ever bosses, who won eight trophies during his nine years on Merseyside. Tributes have been pouring in all week and are set to continue across the weekend, particularly at Anfield.

Flags, banners and posters will be unfurled in the stands as fans say thank you to the man who brought Liverpool their sixth Champions League trophy in 2019 and first-ever Premier League title in 2020 (the 19th league title in the club's history).

The club have organised a mosaic for fans in the terraces, including those on the Kop, to hold aloft when Klopp emerges from the tunnel ahead of kick-off in what is sure to be an emotional moment for the German. It will read: ‘Danke Jurgen, YNWA’.

Cards with instructions on the back have been laid out on the seating already ahead of Sunday’s game. The fixture will be Klopp’s 489th match as Liverpool boss and he will end his tenure with a win ratio of more than 60 per cent.

On his love for the fans and their input through his tenure, Klopp penned an open letter to the ECHO, saying: "Tomorrow will be the last time that I manage Liverpool FC and it will be an occasion when we will once again look to do our supporters proud but it will also be an opportunity to remember the times that we have had together.

"For me, all of those memories will come with love and with thanks for the time I have had here. Liverpool is a city that we lived in and worked in but it is also a place that we fell in love with. We owe it so much.

All that remains for me now is to wish all of you the very best for the future. Liverpool deserves that. YOU deserve that. Thank you. Thank you for everything. Thank you Luv."

Arne Slot has confirmed he will be taking over from Klopp in the summer after the club agreed a compensation package with Feyenoord for the Dutchman.
