Mesut Ozil has once again shown off his impressive physique with a new video also making his feelings on Arsenal very clear. The Germany international made 254 appearances across eight seasons for the Gunners before he departed the club in 2021 and retired from professional football two years later.

A brief spell at Turkish outfit Istanbul Basaksehir came before Ozil called it a day having made just seven appearances with injuries significantly plaguing him. In the wake of his retirement, Ozil penned an emotional message on social media paying tribute to all of his former clubs.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote: "Proud of my career and all the amazing clubs I've had the privilege to play for - only one club that was missing: My Italian love @juventusfc. Juve, storia di un grande amore x." While some footballers move into punditry once their playing days are over, Ozil has seemingly not opted for that path.

In recent months, Ozil has uploaded several photos and videos to show his impressive new physique since hanging up his boots. During his career, the 34-year-old was better known for his delicate touch and footballing brain however he has since put on considerable muscle mass.

And another gym video has emerged which shows Ozil on a flat bench pushing two 50KG dumbbells. A recent photo uploaded to his Instagram also shows his stunning body transformation alongside personal coach Alper Aksac.

While the new video is understandably impressive those with eagle eyes may have noticed the subtle nod to Arsenal. In between each rep, the Arsenal badge can be seen on Ozil's trousers clearly showing he still has some admiration for his former employers despite his unsavoury exit.
