A muscle injury for Pedro Porro and knock for Destiny Udogie will keep them out for short periods - the hope being that both will face Crystal Palace in two weeks’ time.
Giovani Lo Celso has shaken off a minor hamstring injury and makes the squad.
Emerson has been chosen ahead of Radu Dragusin to deputise for Porro at right-back.
Bissouma, meanwhile, starts a Spurs game for the first time since December 15, having endured a stop-start couple of months with both suspension and international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations limiting his Tottenham game time.
Captain Heung-min Son comes into the XI after being a substitute against Brighton, which was his first game back after the Asian Cup.
