Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber - Arsenal injury news and return dates for Everton title race clash

Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka

Arsenal are one afternoon away from eternal glory. Mikel Arteta's men do not have the Premier League title in their hands but the chance remains that they end the 2023/24 season as champions.

Victory against Everton will give them an opportunity to usurp Manchester City at the final hurdle with Pep Guardiola's side needing victory at home to West Ham to secure their fourth title in a row. Only a win for the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium will ensure there is any chance of the leaders failing to lift the trophy at the end of the final day.

For Arteta things couldn't be much better for him. There is a possible fully-fit squad at his disposal whilst Sean Dyche and the Toffees have nothing of note to play for.

Arsenal still head into the last day of action as outsiders but they cannot be written off just yet. Here, football.london brings you the latest from the treatment room.

Bukayo Saka

Saka left the action at Old Trafford in the final few minutes of his last outing after a strong challenge from Sofyan Amrabat saw him tumble down the side of the pitch and into the advertising hoardings.

Injury: Unknown.

What Arteta has said: "I think he's going to be fine."

Potential return date: Everton (H) - Sunday, May 19.

Jurrien Timber

Timber suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury on the opening weekend of the Premier League season against Nottingham Forest, missing a large chunk of the campaign. The 22-year-old defender has recently returned to action, featuring for the under-21s.

He helped the young Gunners secure a 2-0 win over Liverpool at the end of last month, as well as scoring in a 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers, but has not been included in any of the Gunners' matchday squads of late.

Injury: Knee.

What Arteta has said: "We are going to have to make that decision tomorrow after the training session. It's very close. I don't know if it is going to come a bit too early this one, but is very close, I'd say."

Potential return date: Everton (H) - Sunday, May 19.
